Designed, engineered, and manufactured in-house, Sub-drill's DSV™ Test Stand is an innovative solution developed to streamline the testing of Drill Stem Valves (DSV's) and Top Drive Valves during routine well control equipment testing.
Streamline the testing of Drill Stem Valves
This product provides a quick, low torque, and safe method for testing the equipment during routine testing or before installation in the drill string.
Well control equipment testing is critical to ensuring the proper function of the well control equipment during a kick or well control issue. Ensuring the proper function of the well control equipment maintains operational integrity of the drilling process.
The Sub-drill DSV™ Test Stand not facilitates this essential testing but also enhances the safety and efficiency of the testing process.

Reliable, Quick and Safe
The Sub-drill DSV™ Test Stand provides a quick, easy, pre-defined and safe method of testing Drill Stem Valves and Top Drive Valves prior to installation in the string, without requiring the Rotary Table, Rig Tongs or Iron Roughneck.
Now standard protocol with a number of drilling contractors, the Sub-drill DSV™ Test Stand has been designed with speed, efficiency and safety in mind.
By utilising the DSV™ Test Stand, Drill Stem Valve testing can be carried out quickly and safely off-line in parallel with BOP testing or drilling. In addition, it is estimated that the operator will save approximately 2-3 hours during a routine rig BOP test by using Sub-drill’s DSV™ Test Stand
Ensuring that drill string and top drive valves function correctly and hold pressure is vital to the operational integrity of the drilling string and the drilling process. The Sub-drill DSV™ Test Stand can provide a reliable, quick and safe method for testing these valves prior to installation in the string.
