Sub-drill’s Rotary Subs, Crossovers and Sub types are designed and manufactured in house to the very highest specifications, and latest industry standards.
Rotary substitutes have two main applications, they can be used to crossover from one connection size to another, or, as a sacrificial element to extend the service life of a more expensive component.
Sacrificial wear parts
Subs are designed to be an inexpensive, replaceable component that absorbs damage during repeated make-and-break cycles. This extends the service life of much more expensive drilling equipment, such as the Kelly or top drive.
